So if you're anything like me you probably can't stand to have oily skin!
Here's a few reasons why exactly this could be happening to you...
1. Genes!
One of your parents could be the culprit here. Unfortunately, this cannot be changed, but it can be helped.
2. Diet
What are you eating girlfriend?! Put the mickey d's down and grab a less greasy meal
3. Weather
With my skin I find that the more dry the weather is the more oil my skin produces
Try to keep your face moisturized so you skin doesn't have to produce more oil to make up for the dryness
MOST IMPORTANTLY
Drink Water!!!
Here are a few awesome products and helpful tips
Basis Cleaner Clean Face Wash
This face wash is amazing! Not only did it clear my acne, but it also kept my face from oiling up!
The Body Shop Seaweed Mattifying Day Cream
This moisturizer will be sure to keep your face matte all day as well as replenished
Revlon Color Stay 24hour make-up
This make up is great for oily skin and really keeps your face matte for as long as you need it to
***To clean out your system of all that nasty, greasy, garbage***
Aloe is your best friend!
I realize that a company has come out with an aloe drink that provides you with aloe gel and a little flavor to make it more appealing, however, I still believe in the old fashion way.
Nothing will ever be better than the real thing.
Here's what you do...
This piece of aloe can be purchased for $2.00 at any grocery store or fresh market
Cut a sufficient amount of aloe
If starting from the top cut off a larger piece due to the minimal amount of gel in the tip of the plant
Once you've cut your piece of aloe slice it down the side exposing the center of the plant
Next, pull up a cup and fork and scrape the gel
Because I am such a baby I mix the gel with a splash of juice and take it like a shot
Some people mix it with water, but I'm not that brave
(doesn't taste pleasant)
Any left over gel on the stem can be rubbed on your face for added moisture
Hope this all helped!!
